The ZerveHack Challenge
Your mission is clear: use Zerve to build something original. Analyze a dataset, discover insights, and deploy the result as an analysis, application, or API. No subject constraints, no imposed methodology. Bring a question you’re passionate about and explore how far you can go.
The organizers have selected five dataset areas to inspire you: predictive markets and forecasting (Polymarket, Kalshi, Metaculus), finance and economics (FRED, Alpha Vantage, SEC EDGAR), sports and competition (FBref, NBA API, Stathead), climate and energy (NOAA, EIA, EPA), and social and cultural trends (Google Trends, Hugging Face, Reddit API). But you can also bring your own data if you have a personal obsession to explore.
Your deliverables include a functional public Zerve project (error-free), a maximum 300-word description explaining your question, your discoveries, and their importance, a 3-minute demo video, and a post on LinkedIn or X tagging @Zerve AI or @Zerve_AI. Deploying an API or app is optional, but highly encouraged and prioritized by the judges.
